They Take The Psychopath
What Lies At The Bottom Of The Ocean And Twitches?
A Nervous Wreck
Where Do You Find a Dog With No Legs?
Right Where You Left Him.
These are some of the feelings we've been having lately. We were told there would be a lot of waiting and wondering and unknowns. That is for sure.
Today at Huntsman my Mom and Dad said they were told by the doctor they were sorry that they didn't have any new information for her. We don't know anything different than we knew 2-3 weeks ago. The biopsy results can't be determined by pathology. They 1st came back saying she had Metastatic Breast Cancer-stage 4. Now they aren't sure/don't know. She has been told that she has the hardest cancer to diagnose and the hardest to treat. If they cannot find the primary source of the cancer then there are aggressive treatments without good results and would probably name the cancer Sarcoma. My family is praying and fasting for them to be able to find the active cancer cell location so they know where to start and what to target.
The Huntsman website says:
"Sometimes the primary cancer is never found. The primary cancer may not be found for one of the following reasons:
- The primary cancer is very small and grows slowly
- The body's immune system killed the primary cancer.
- The primary cancer was removed during surgery for another condition and doctors didn't know cancer had formed."
From my Mom:
"I have metastatic bone lesions on the neck, spine, lumbar, ileum, sacrum, pelvis, lateral ribs, shoulder saddles, and left tibia. On the whole body bone- density scan it looks like Christmas lights.
"I was thinking of the words to "I Feel My Savior's Love". It fits what I am feeling.
I feel my Savior's love In all the world around me.
His spirit warms my soul Through everything I see.
He knows I will follow him, Give all my life to him.
I feel my Savior's love, The love he freely gives me.
I feel my Savior's love; Its gentleness enfolds me,
And when I kneel to pray, My heart is filled with peace.
He knows I will follow him, Give all my life to him.
I feel my Savior's love, The love he freely gives me.
I feel my Savior's love And know that he will bless me.
I offer him my heart; My shepherd he will be.
He knows I will follow him, Give all my life to him.
I feel my Savior's love, The love he freely gives me.
"My Savior is my anchor. Anyone searching for joy in this life will never find it without faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. This great joy is in his service.
"I can feel everyone's prayers strengthening me and we just do the best we can with what life gives us. We rely on the Lord to help us through each day.
"It's harder for me to see everyone else concerned for me than for me to be the instrument in this trial."
Here are a few others that I liked that made me think of Mom:
and last, but not least:
Walk tall, you're a child, a child of God,
Be strong and remember who you are,
Try to understand, you're part of his great plan.
He's closer than you know,
Reach up; he'll take your hand.
Some days there won't be a song in your heart. Sing anyway. ~Emory Austin
*We love you, Mom and we're all praying for you.
